At Kaijin MMA, Jiu-Jitsu encompasses all forms of grappling arts that can be effectively used to control, subdue, or incapacitate opponents in real life situations, whether in self defense or competition. This includes throws, tackles, trips, and other transitions from the ground to standing. We also spend a significant amount of time focusing on ground fighting positions and techniques, including guard passing, various guard positions, escapes, attacks, and defenses.

Our No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu program combines submission grappling and wrestling techniques, emphasizing stand-up skills such as takedowns, clinches, and throws. Students develop their skills in guard passing, sweeps, submissions, and positional control, while learning to avoid vulnerable positions. The focus is on developing effective grappling skills for both competition and real-world self-defense.
