Marcelo Garcia Seminar…Great Success!
Thanks to everyone who made it out to Kaijin over the weekend for the Marcelo Garcia Seminar. Saturday was the gi day and Marcelo focused on taking the back from standing, back attacks and the crucifix position. Not only was the seminar awesome, the training was top notch with people from all academies training together, including many higher belts (8 black belts!).
Sunday was no-gi and Marcelo taught his lethal armdrag then moved on to sweeps and finished the seminar with a guillotine choke and some excellent details. The training was super fun and challenging with many higher level guys and girls rolling. We will post some training video soon. Thanks again to everyone for all the support – especially those of you who drove and/or flew in from out of town. Extra special thanks to Marcelo Garcia for another excellent seminar. Hope to see you all at the next one!

Wish I was there, but benefited from the sweeps taught at no gi on Tuesday.
Maybe I’ll buy a nice shirt. lol.
